> You are required to respect the Social Distancing measures in place at the property, markers are in the reception area at 1.5m from the reception desk – please do not pass this mark while staff are in attendance at workstations. Staff members will step away from the workstation while guests are at the reception desk.
> Hand Sanitiser is provided in the reception area for the use of all guests.
> Additional specialized cleaning services and charges are applied to all self-isolation reservations without exception and charged in full upon arrival.
> The Rooftop Pool, Cardio Room & BBQ Area's have been re-opened for guest use - please note Social Distancing measures must be observed and bookings are required for use of the bbq facilities.
> We encourage all guests to download the COVIDSAFE app prior to travelling.
> Please ensure to provide contact telephone number and email address for confirmation of arrival time and to be advised of the social distancing and COVID safe travel initiatives in place at the hotel.
Self-Isolation Guest Policy
Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments remain open and trading and is here to assist if you are required to self-isolate for any length of time.
During your stay, we ask all guests to follow the latest recommendations from the Australian Government Department of Health’s website with regards to self-isolation within hotels: www.health.gov.au
Whilst in isolation at the hotel, we have implemented additional safety policies that you will be required to follow:
> You are required to wear a surgical face mask before arriving at the hotel and at any time you are required to move throughout public areas of the hotel during your stay. This is not required when you are within your apartment.
> Limit movement throughout the hotel, self-isolation guests are required to remain in their allocated apartment during their self-isolation period.
> All recreational facilities including the cardio room, outdoor pool and bbq area all located on the rooftop are not available for your use.
> Housekeeping is not permitted to enter your apartment, however; during your stay, if you require any additional amenities or bed linen we have implemented a ‘Drop & Knock’ procedure where we will place requested items outside your suite door to help us fulfil your needs. For the convenience of all guests each of our apartments is fitted with its own washer and dryer facilities.
> For food, guests have access to a variety of delivery services like UberEATS, The Pantry on Grey, Marley Spoon, Youfoodz or HelloFresh. We will assist in facilitating the delivery to the door of your apartment. All deliveries will follow our ‘Drop & Knock’ procedure.
> Buzz Bistro and Deliveroo orders/deliveries made via the guest services team will be charged to your room account and we will assist in facilitating the delivery the to door of your apartment. All deliveries will follow our ‘Drop & Knock’ procedure.
We have implemented additional safety procedures that are designed to make your stay comfortable and to have the confidence during your time with us that our guests and our hotel team are safe.

Reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Standard check-in time is from 3 pm with checkout by 11 am.
Any outstanding balance for your stay must be paid upon arrival. Government-issued Photo Identification for each guest and a $200 preauthorization per apartment reservation will be held on the credit card provided on arrival; this is a condition of stay. The credit card must be in the name matching both the booked guest and the identification provided.
In the event, your incidental account exceeds $200 at any time an additional $200 preauthorization will be processed on your card to guarantee full payment on departure unless a full chargeback guarantee has been received from your respective Travel Agent or Company.
Please note, cash is not accepted as a form of pre-authorization.
All credit card payments incur a 1.35% surcharge fee
Should you wish to pre-pay your accommodation in full via bank transfer please ensure that this has been completed and cleared 3 business days prior to arrival; please send the remittance advice of any such prepayment to firstname.lastname@example.org

Conditions of Reservations & Stays
By booking accommodation with Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments you agree to the following terms and conditions; Please be aware any breaches of hotel terms and conditions will result in eviction without refund and any future reservations will not be honoured. By checking into the hotel you confirm that your liability for the hotel room account and any associated charges is not waived and agree to be held personally liable in the event that the indicated person, company or association fails to pay for any part of the full amount of the charges and for the behaviour of all registered guests.
Guests must be 18 years or over to reserve a hotel room. Minors (all guests under the age of 18) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times within the hotel. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check into the hotel, no exceptions will be made.
Late Checkouts are available for booking the day prior to departure - AUD45 to midday, AUD90 to 1pm, AUD 120 to 2pm, Full nightly rate for post 2pm. Subject to availability
Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments is a 100% Non-Smoking Property. Smoking, E-Cigarettes & Vaping of any kind are not permitted in rooms, on balconies, in corridors, of the rooftop recreation level nor any other location within the hotel building. Any reservation/guest identified to be smoking or vaping (including e-cigarettes) in any form on the premises, including in hotel room/s, balcony/s, corridor, carpark or rooftop area will be charged a minimum $200 cleaning fee and be removed from the property without refund and future reservations will not be accepted.
Should a Fire Alarm which is attended by the Queensland Fire Service occur as a result of any action or negligence on part of a guest, any and all associated costs will be passed on and charged to the guest reservation responsible for the false call out.
In order to cater to cyclists we have provided 36 purpose build bike racks on level 2 and 3 of our secure carpark, you will need to supply your own securing lock if required. Bicycles are not permitted in public areas, lifts or apartments and bicycle cleats are to be removed prior to walking through any part of the hotel.
Post Departure Credit Card charges:
The apartment in which you are staying has been equipped with all the standard requirements to make your stay comfortable. There are also a number of premium luxury items not normally found in a hotel room or apartment; these are supplied for your use while staying at Alex Perry Hotel and Apartments. The registered occupier/s of the apartment is liable for any item that is broken, damaged or permanently removed from the apartment. In the event of damage or misuse of the apartment which results in rectification works, increased cleaning or replacement of missing items, discovered post departure, Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments reserve the right to charge the credit card provided on arrival to recover all associated costs.
No Gathering / Zero Tolerance No Party Policy
For the comfort and consideration of all our guests, please note that we have a strict No-Party Policy. We appreciate the value of our guests' privacy and security, as such access above the ground floor is restricted to registered hotel guests and residents. The hotel and hotel facilities are for the use of registered guests only; unless alternative arrangements have been authorised and confirmed in writing by the hotel General Manager. In the event this policy is not adhered to, your reservation will be cancelled without refund and you will be removed from the property.
The maximum number of guests to be registered and accommodated in your apartment at any one time is as follows:
Studio: 2 adults
1 bedroom apartment: 2 adults
1 bedroom executive: 2 adults
2 bedroom apartment: 4 adults
2 bedroom executive: 4 adults
PROPERTY CANCELLATION POLICY
Please be aware of the cancellation policy that applies to the applicable accommodation offer booked.
Standard/Flexible rate reservations:
Cancellations received after 2 pm local hotel time the day prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal in value to the amount of the 1st-night accommodation charge.
Change of Dates for standard/flexible rate reservations:
Booking dates can be altered subject to availability without penalty in accordance with the cancellation policy. Accommodation tariffs will be adjusted accordingly.
Full payment is processed at the time of reservation. No cancellations, amendments, changes or refunds are accepted on these reservations.
No Show reservations:
Will be charged the first-night accommodation charge. No Show Reservations will have any remaining nights booked cancelled.
Non-Guaranteed Reservations (Bookings made without credit card guarantee):
Reservations are held only until 4 pm on the day of arrival, reservations are auto released and cancelled at this time. If arrival is planned after 4 pm local hotel time; please contact the property or request a call to confirm your credit card details to guarantee the reservation for arrival after 4 pm.
Cancellations received within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equal in value to the amount of the first 3 nights accommodation charge. Includes 2 Housekeeping Services per week only. Housekeeping on weekdays only.
No Cancellations or amendments. All cancellations incur a fee equal in value to the first night's charge. Stay Pay Promotions (which include a free night) do not include any Housekeeping services on Weekends or Public Holidays or complimentary stay days.
Confidential offer. commences 1 Jan-31 DEC 2020. Must enter current work industry email at the time of booking. Failure to do so will result in the booking being automatically cancelled. Offer valid on select room types only and subject to availability. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Housekeeping service every 3rd day only. No housekeeping on Weekends or Public Holidays. No complimentary upgrades or special requests. Offer strictly valid for travel industry employees as identified by the hotel, this offer cannot be extended to family, friends, clients or other companies. Valid Industry ID or applicable business card/current payslip is required for check-in. Failure to provide outlined proof of industry employment will result in rates reverting to the Best flexible Rate of the day or cancelled. The hotel reserves the right to stopsell any industry partner not adhering to the conditions of the offer or stay.
