Ideal for those guests who wish to reduce their close contact with third parties and select to opt-out of housekeeping services during their shorter stay.

As our apartments are self-contained, when this option is selected for stays less than 7 days additional laundry and dishwashing items will be supplied to your apartment prior to your arrival.

For those staying for longer than 7 days a preferred day (day 7 or 8) will be scheduled with you on arrival for full housekeeping clean while you are out of the apartment.

Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments provides hand sanitiser stations in various locations throughout the hotel: Reception, lift lobby and BBQ area.

Each room receives 1 complimentary 50ml Sukin green tea & mint hand sanitiser.

In addition to hand sanitiser our 'Girlfriends Handbag' has 50ml Sukin green tea & mint hand sanitiser, 30 pack ki-ose 395 hospital-grade disinfectant wipes and softened N95 face masks for purchase.  Just ask our guest services team.

Preventative Cleaning - Touching Points
We have increased the cleaning of surfaces that are touched frequently throughout the day. In addition to our existing hospital-grade cleaning, all high touch points including but not limited to TV remotes, handles, switches, in-room air/heating control panel, light switches etc are treated with a hospital-grade disinfectant spray post-cleaning.  Cleaning equipment used within the hotel include electrostatic sprayers, air purifiers, and ozone generators.

Infection Control - Plan for Outbreak

Viraclean is a major development in advanced cleaning and disinfecting technology from Whiteley Medical. It is the result of years of intensive research and development. A considerable investment in both time and money has been made in the interest of improving the safety of hospital grade disinfectants.  The revolutionary hepadnacidal test method was developed at the University of Sydney sponsored with funding from Whiteley Medical and represents another world breakthrough in Australia. This glutaraldehyde--free product, Viraclean, which was developed during this program, has been patented.

Waste removal

The Bayton team will prepare the waste for disposal in leak-proof plastic bags to the on-site bio-hazard bins.

Bio-misting

What is Bio-misting?
Bio-misting is a sterilisation technique that creates a dry or wet mist that eliminates a high percentage, if not all, pathogens that may not be reached by conventional cleaning. Bio-misting is an internationally established and recognised method of sterlising an entire surface area.

How effective is Bio-misting?

Bio-misting is an extremely effective sterilisation method. TGA approved Biocides are used in the process and are proven to work effectively against viruses, fungi, spores, and bacteria such as Influenza, MRSA, C.difficile, and Norovirus. This preventative procedure combined with the appropriate sanitiser and disinfectant removes bacteria and viruses on surfaces. The regularity of the sanitisation and disinfection will result in a significant reduction in the transmission of potential illnesses to anyone within the facilities.

Post 72 hours the Ozone/UV is run with the in-room air conditioning to ensure all air within the apartment is treated, filters are removed and sanitised.  All Upholstery is professionally serviced including carpets, furniture and curtains

In addition to the required social distancing protocols in place and additional cleaning, safety, and security measures, the entire hotel team has all successfully completed and received their certificate of learning for the Australian Government, COVID-19 Infection Control Training e-learning course.

Yes, Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments is an Australian Designed, Owned and Operated Apartment Hotel facility in the ever-changing Fortitude Valley.

Lost property items are held for a maximum of 14 days.  At this time any items not collected or confirmed for despatch are donated to Helping the Homeless

The hotel prides itself on continually improving its environmentally friendly practices and reducing its carbon footprint. With policies in place such as changing linen weekly & servicing the apartments every third day rather than daily for long stay guests and offering the choice to opt out of daily housekeeping servicing for our shorter stay guests, this assists with both the reduction of water & power consumption and non- essential waste levels.

All apartments are fitted with energy efficient lighting in room and have water efficient flow regulators installed to meet the drought restrictions in place at the time of construction, these help our guests and residents reduce their overall water consumption and impact on the environment.

All common areas are equipped with energy efficient LED lighting which operates via sensors to minimise electricity use. Recycling bins for all glass, bottles, cans, paper and cardboard are available on each floor of the building. Our recyclable bottles and cans are collected weekly as by one of our charity partners Branches Lifestyle Support which provides both work experience for their residents and assist in funding for their ongoing endeavour of offering adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities with supported independent living assistance and services in their own homes.

Yes parking is subject to availability and is recommended to be pre-booked with the guest services team. When a direct reservation is made with the hotel (via this website, in person or via telephone) the parking charge is discounted to $12 per vehicle per night. (Please note that reservations made through all other portions the standard parking charge of $25 per vehicle per night applies). The parking height limit is 2.1m and is subject to availability.

Hotel reception is open 24 hours daily. Housekeeping services are available from 8.30am to 5pm daily. Should you wish to add additional services to your booking please contact the guest service team to have this added to your reservation. 24 hour’s notice is require and a charge for any additional services will be added to your room account.

The rooftop recreation level is for the exclusive use of registered hotel guests and residents. Only registered guests are provided access above the ground floor of the hotel.

Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments is a 100% Smoke-Free, Non- Smoking property. We strive to provide a safe and healthy living environment.

Please note any identified smoking on the premises will incur a minimum $200AUD cleaning Charge and future reservations are unable to be accepted.

In order to cater to cyclists we have provided 36 purpose build bike racks on levels 2 and 3 of our secure carpark, you will need to supply your own securing lock if required.
Please note Bicycles are not permitted in public areas, lifts, corridors or apartments and bicycle cleats are to be removed prior to walking through any part of the property.

There are 2 Tesla charger spaces located 250m from the hotel in the Homemaker Centre (South) car park (Street level) opposite the Telsa Service Centre & Showroom.
