Food glorious food. The hotel is located amongst some of the best cafes and restaurants going in Brisbane. We also understand that sometimes guests just like to dine in the comfort of their room. Whilst we do not operate a restaurant of our own, we have friends in the business who cater to our guest's cravings with an in-room dining chargeback service.
Buzz Bistro Emporium
Buzz Bistro has long been a part of the Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments family, ensuring our guests walk away well-caffeinated and fueled with fresh and seasonal produce before they start their day.
Located across the road in the Emporium dining precinct, Sashi and the team provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for you to relax. It is a popular spot for breakfast, coffee catch-ups, brunch, or lunch and is enjoyed by our guests and locals alike. La Dolce Vita - Emporium
Italian for "the sweet life", La Dolce Vita is a Brisbane culinary icon since 1989.
La Dolce Vita is Brisbane's Italian heart and soul, fusing flavour, seasonal and local ingredients with inspiration from cultural heritage with fast, friendly service. Fresh food really does make a difference! From hand-stretched pizza bases to house-made pasta, they guarantee the freshest produce from their kitchen.
Fortunate for Fortitude Valley, La Dolce Vita has opened their second restaurant. The icing on the cake is you only need to cross Ann Street to experience it.
When choosing La Dolce Vita you have the option to dine in the restaurant, have your meal delivered to the hotel or simply take-away.

El Cafe
Andy and Angela have operated El Cafe since 2017 and quickly became one of the local favourites for our hotel guests to kick start their morning.
Located on the corner of Commerical and Leopold Streets (190m walk), El Cafe provides dine-in or takeaway options for our guests (no delivery). Enjoy an all-day breaky, sandwiches, burgers, salads, cold press coffee, milkshakes, and iced drinks every day from 7 am - 2 pm with the convenience of charging back to your hotel account.
Icing Hill
Icing Hill offers the most delectable and unique cakes. Think rose watermelon cake with fresh cream, pistachio, rose petals, and choco pearls. Yum! right? Perhaps you might be staying with us and would like to pre-order a cake for a special occasion?
Not so much of a sweet tooth? well, that is totally ok, as their all-day breakfast menu will be sure to please. From good old fashioned toast and eggs to chill crab pasta, you will find something to tantalise your taste buds.
Feeling thirsty? we can recommend their fresh watermelon juice. It is beautifully refreshing. Don't worry though, there is plenty to get the mind and body going in the morning with a range of caffeinated beverages from flat whites to red velvet lattes.
Guests will be able to order and chargeback to their room account with Icing Hill delivering to the hotel reception. If you would like to get out of the hotel for a short stroll, you can also dine in at Icing Hill and chargeback to your room account.
Deliveroo Hotel Service
Guests are able to order brunch, lunch and dinner from a variety of local restaurants Monday - Sunday. It's as easy as selecting a restaurant from the Deliveroo in-room menu, choosing a dish and calling guest services to place the order. If there are any changes to the restaurants advertised as a result of closures, our guest services team will be able to provide alternate suggestions for you.
Deliveroo will deliver meals to the hotel for collection from the Hotel Guest Service team located on the Ground floor and charged to the guest room account.
Dan Murphy's - Newstead
This new addition to the neighbourhood has been welcomed by many. Whilst this is not a chargeback service, they are conveniently located to the hotel and for those visiting you can always pre-arrange your click and collect.
