So you have booked our Easter Promotion and wondering what there is to do when you arrive in Fortitude Valley. The bonus of our location is that you are also only steps away from Newstead which is also dripping in great restaurants, cafes and bars. Let's face it, who doesn't like to eat and drink their way through an Easter long weekend. Here is a small handful to choose from the local area.
City Winery - sit back, relax and enjoy a glass of wine this Easter. Did you know you can also dine at City Winery? Choose either the Fireside Experience or dine in the winery. Open Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday. Opening hours 12 pm - 10 pm
Mrs Brown's Bar & Kitchen - They are a short stroll around the corner and will be conveniently open Easter Saturday - Easter Monday. The team at Mrs Brown's is obsessed with three things: great food, great drinks, and exceptional service. We recommend your try the KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower). It is a little spicy, but so very delicious.
The Prince Consort - Do you remember House? grab yourself a drink and get ready to bust a move with Groove Terminator on Easter Saturday or have lazy Easter Sunday lunch or dinner. The Prince Consort will be closed on Good Friday.
The Osbourne Hotel - Easter Saturday is your day to get in and enjoy their warm, welcoming and a little bit unexpected menu, topped off with a great selection of local and international beers and wines. Closed Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday.
Stone & Wood Brisbane - If you are feeling a little thirsty, the team at Stone and Wood will be open Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday from 12 noon through to 10 pm. A little birdie told us there may even be a chance they might open Easter Monday. We recommend phoning Stone & Wood to confirm.
Mr Mista is an L.A inspired cocktail bar and asian influenced kitchen that caters for people who love an elegant dining experience, but still love to party. They will be open on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday.
If you are looking for a slice of Italy in Brisbane then you have found it at La Costa.
Icing Hill has cakes to die for, but they also do a mean brunch that won't leave you hungry. Icing Hill will be open from Good Friday through to Easter Sunday however, will be closed Easter Monday.
El Cafe has some of the best coffee going around. El Cafe will be open for breakfast and lunch on Good Friday through to Easter Sunday. They will be closed on Easter Monday.
