World Bartender Day
World Bartender Day is the 24th of February and we would like to raise a glass to the fine folk that keeps us 'hydrated' and endlessly entertained with their cocktail making theatrics. As a hotel located in the entertainment hub of Brisbane, who loves promoting 'Live Like A Local', it would be rude of us not to help spruik some of the best, quirky, and sophisticated places to sample some alcoholic beverages and give thanks to our Bartenders.
Suzie Wong's Good Time Bar - A Hawaiian themed dive bar where they serve nothing but drinks. There are Hawaiian themed beers and a selection of boutique wines and for cocktails, think Blue Kahana shots, and Suzie's Colada. You will start your experience from the moment you enter the building by a retro refrigerator door.
Cielo Rooftop - This newly opened rooftop bar whisks you away to the Italian Riviera. Enjoy a Santorini or maybe a St Tropez Colada is more your style. There is also a fantastic selection of wine and beer on tap to please.
City Winery - Is Brisbane's first urban winery to launch in Brisbane since 1860. It is a working micro-winery sourcing grapes from across Australia's key growing regions, bringing them to the city where Winemaker Dave Cush will create delicious wine.
The Prince Consort - Imagine a collection of old English style pubs, gastro-pub-inspired fare, fresh Australian flavours and that's The Prince Consort.
Stone & Wood Brisbane - Enjoy a cold beer from a beautifully preserved heritage-listed building on Bridge Street. Pouring from 24 taps is the entire Stone & Wood core range, along with limited releases including Counter Culture releases, and their one-off Pilot Batch brews exclusive to Brisbane.
Proud Henry - Proud Henry is the perfect place to escape from the outside world and relax over a gin from their list of more than 280 gins from all corners of the globe, or enjoy a bottle of artisan, hard to find wine, hand-selected from travels around Australia and the world.
