But first....coffee. For all coffee lovers, we have said this phrase once or twice before making any decisions in our day. There is nothing better than a strong flavoursome coffee to get the brain ticking and the body moving. However, where does one go in Fortitude Valley you might ask? Never fear we are here to provide some suggestions in and around the area that is sure to please.
If you are staying at the hotel and looking for a place you can charge back your coffee, then we have a select number of local cafes to accommodate you. El Cafe makes a mean coffee that is consistently exceptional and the word on the street is that they have a new whiz-bang coffee machine too. Icing Hill is absolutely the spot to go if you have a morning sweet tooth coupled with coffee. Their cakes are to die for and not your run of the mill selection. Buzz Bistro has been serving our early bird hotel guests since 2015 and we recommend popping in for your caffeine fix to say hello.
Simply visiting the area? then you can spread your wings and go further afield. If you love a little bit of architecture and fresh air, then The Brooke is your place to be. Enjoy your peaceful surrounding set amongst a heritage listed church. If graffiti art and polished concrete floors are more your style, then you will enjoy the flagship Campos Coffee on the corner of Ann and Wandoo. Laneways, who doesn't love a good laneway? In California Lane, you will discover Reverends Fine Coffee. It has a rugged vintage vibe about it with dark wood tables and exposed bricks, brilliant coffee of course their menu is delish too. King Arthur Cafe is a quaint little spot to take a seat out front and people watch with your coffee in hand. Do yourself a favour and peruse their breaky menu because it is pretty special.
