International Day Of Happiness

In light of current events, there are things we may not be able to control, but one thing we can is happiness.  March 20 is the International Day of Happiness and this year's theme is 'Keep Calm. Stay Wise. Be Kind.'  International Day of Happiness is a chance to find uplifting and positive ways to look after ourselves and one another.

At Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments we follow the Fish Philosophy to ensure that not only ourselves but our guests and fellow team members have a great day.  We do this by following the simple steps:

• As we enter the hotel and start our day we CHOOSE to make the day great.   We leave any negativity at the door and be kind to one another.
• We find ways to PLAY.  Whilst we take our operation and work seriously, we don't need to be serious about ourselves.   Having a laugh with our guests is a joy for all.
• We are always focused in order to BE THERE for our guests and team members.
• If we ever feel our energies are low, we make sure to find someone who needs a helping hand, a word of support, or a good ear and MAKE THEIR DAY. 

We encourage our guests to live like a local when they stay. Finding time to lose yourself in something that you love is important for self-happiness.  Some guests stay for business and others to get away from the daily grind. Either way, it is important that during their stay, they make time to do something for themselves.  Not only can they relax by the pool, release stress via a workout, but they can visit the local neighbourhood to get the perfect coffee to start the day, drinks after 5, or sample a variety of cuisines and new venues.
